Welcome to Saddlebrook Farm's weekly brief for Monday, May 27 through Sunday, June 2.
On Monday, the Community Office will be closed in observance of Memorial Day. However, the sales office may be open. Garbage and recycling will be delayed by one day and will now be picked up on Thursday, May 30.
On Tuesday, join your neighbors for Busy Hands at the Lake Lodge from one to three in the afternoon. Bring your creative ideas as we knit, crochet, and sew items to donate to others in our community. Yarn and fabric are available at no charge to you. Call Irene if you’d like more information.
On Wednesday, help clean up Peterson Road and support our Adopt-a-Highway project. Meet at the Lake Lodge at 9 a.m. for coffee and doughnuts and to receive instructions. A vest, gloves, and bags will be provided.
On Thursday, May 30, join our Trotter’s group at 8:30 in the morning to earn more rewards points! Congratulations to Larry Jackson and George Smith who met their goal and are now part of the 500 mile club.
On Friday, come celebrate June birthdays at our monthly ice cream social. Your favorite frozen delight awaits you at the Lake Lodge from 3 to 5.
Don’t miss our Potluck Sing-A-Long this Saturday from 5 to 8 pm. Bring your best dish to share with others as we enjoy dinner together at the Lake Lodge before singing some of our favorite tunes as a group. Not to worry, we’ll be providing the song sheets. No reservations needed, just come and enjoy the fun.
Hometown America is committed to providing new amenities and improvements to the Saddlebrook community. Next week you’ll see new park benches and picnic tables being installed so you can enjoy them all summer long.
From your friends at Hometown America, have a wonderful week.
